Deviled Eggs with Bacon

Deviled Eggs with Bacon Ingredients


  • 12 large eggs

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup sour cream

  • Fresh, well-done bacon crumbled to taste

  • 2 Tablespoons dill

  • 2 Tablespoon Dijon mustard

  • 1 Teaspoon Paprika

  • Morton salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Paprika for garnish


Deviled Eggs with Bacon Instructions


  1. Place the eggs in a pot

  2. Add enough cold water to cover the eggs by about an inch

  3. Place the pot over high heat and bring the water to a rolling boil

  4. Stir in 1 teaspoon of baking soda (makes it easier to peel)

  5. Once the water boils, lower the heat to a gentle simmer for 10 minutes

  6. Transfer the cooked eggs to a bowl of iced water

  7. Peel the eggs over cold running water

  8. Place the eggs in the fridge for a few hours

  9. After chilled, slice the eggs in half

  10. Remove the yolk and place into a bowl with all of the ingredients

  11. Mix all of the ingredients, whipping them to one smooth texture

  12. Fill the eggs
